It is downright curious why any woman would ever vote for a Republican in 2010, and for that matter, why they ever support them. Republican lawmakers have done everything in their power to keep women in a subservient position as the Bible instructs.
In Oklahoma’s new anti-abortion push, the Republicans force women to undergo sonograms, and if it’s early in the pregnancy, they insert a wand into the women’s vagina, which is rape by instrument, and then post all the information on a website for everyone’s viewing enjoyment. There is no equal provision for men who a vasectomy, or take boner pills like Viagra because our society elevates men.
A California representative, Daryl Issa (R) , wants to strip provisions promoting gender parity in academic science and technology, and he will not comment on why that is something important. Will he still think it’s a good idea if one of his female relatives is discriminated against, or is subverted in their goals?
In California, there was a bill to put a stop to the practice of gender inequality in insurance coverage and every Republican voted against the bill. It passed, but the fact remains that Republicans felt it was acceptable to discriminate against women. The sponsor of the bill has a wife, mother, and daughters, but is willing to allow the insurance industry to refuse health care based on gender, and to allow them to charge more for health care based on gender.
John McCain R- Arizona, fought to limit a woman’s right to sue when they were discriminated against based on gender, even for inappropriate sexual advances. Apparently, women are supposed to let a man make unwanted advances, and dare not complain about it when it happens.
The list goes on and on and shows the blatant disregard Republicans have toward women. It is in our culture to keep women subservient, barefoot, and pregnant because of the Bible’s influence. The most ridiculous fact is Sarah Palin wants the Bible to replace the Constitution suggesting that maybe Palin is really a man; albeit the stupidest, ugliest man on the Earth.
With half of the population being women, we can ill afford to lose their contribution. Republicans however, cannot afford to allow women to contribute because women are intelligent and that scares the Conservatives to death. In some sense, it certainly explains why conservatives cling to their Bibles because it gives them God-like authority to discriminate, humiliate and enslave our most valuable resource.
It will take more education, but if a woman supports any Republican after learning of their discriminatory practices, maybe that woman is not so smart after all, and there are not many stupid women except for Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.
